I for one will be using this service if it can be arranged. The times I have went to Cebu, It was a real struggle to get there and return in one day. Either driving myself or ferry bus trip. Most of the time I rented a room at about 1200 a night. cheap. Plus the gas diesel or transport taxi charges. Seems to me it is very cheap and A hassle free way to get this done. Thanks to all those trying to get this done.

Maybe one of the foreigner frequented restos or Robinson's might donate some space .. of course we may have to promise Robinson's that we would get a PA system and max the volume over driving the amps and speakers

It effects me because I am moving to Dumaguete on January 20. That is why I asked a date clarification from another here in the forum who posted "next Saturday", which, per his response to my request for date clarification, turned out to be "this Saturday" and not "next Saturday" after all. The meeting is set for this Saturday, but is still pending until it actually takes place. Thank you Larry I am glad for the forum that you provide us, it is very helpful in many ways.

It is today harder to get something organized over the Forum, than it was 10 years ago with only personal contacts and telephone, I would suggest (along with somebody else) that, the event would be organized in February, so that the news has time to travel over the "Bamboo Phone" and with that, would bring in more revenue, another problem last time was, that there was no Xerox machine at the location in Balugo and they ended up renting one down town...

If one looks at the localities of our BI Field Office, one must pity the people that have to work in such cramped quarters,
so, I should think that the BI in Manila is probably planning to relocate our Field Office to a new location that will provide more space and a wider range of services...

I appreciate your optimism, I find it refreshing. At the same time, I have a suspicion that moving the Dumaguete B of I office so that its workers can be more comfy is the last thing on Manila's mind.

Redneck, thank you for the link. I appreciate it, I read it. But it's from December of 2012. You and me both, we both know how often our B of I changes its stuff! And when it does, the burden is on US to understand that stuff and comply perfectly to their stuff. If we f&^% up their stuff enough, we could find ourselves on the short end of a very, very long stick (deported), di ba ? Mark me as one of the more conservative among all hanging around this thread.

Well done Dave, but it's not all clear to me so I have still some questions.
You wrote earlier: "Also if possible print out the form x2 and have 2x 2x2 pictures ready,do not get it notarized just in case of any mistakes, fill in as much of the info as you can,if you're not sure leave it blank."
Q : Do's the BI person the notarizing and if so is this included in the P 1500?
If not it will be very difficult to find a notary on Saturday around noon!
And: what do you mean by "contact Dave to let him know how many staff to bring."
