I feel with you, we live in a native style house and the wind is getting in at every small opening, it's really chilly, luckily it does not rain much because the wind would drive that in as well...

I only had two brown outs in 56 hours, but they lasted for 45 hours....

Gee Norm, I feel for you. I only have two brown outs in Bacong, the first lasted 9 hours, and then we had electricity for 15 hours, the Second last for 36 hours. Since my water is pumped, I have no water during these times of brown outs also. O-|

I guess I'm lucky in Sibulan, today no brown out, yesterday 1 for about twenty minutes and the day before 2 around thirty minutes each.
I sure do remember the 8 days without power after typhoon Pablo, so I know how boring it gets.....

ya... ya hafta wonder about some of the power outages in these parts, is it equipment failure or???
around 5am this morning, the power went out for about 10 minutes. do you suppose a guy on a motorbike, equipped with a 20 ft bambú ladder, just happened to be surveying the line and saw our wires dangling in the coconut trees and put humpty dumpty back together again with some surplus duct tape?

    norm : ))~

The wore they use is cheap Chinese wire along with most other equipment so I am told, they never look for a fault but just string another wire between, that's why we have spaghetti everywhere. They came here to fix the line with a roll of black tape, a u clamp and a pair of pliers!
After Pablo they were fixing people who paid the most first
