Just a quick intro as I am moving here after 7 years in Cebu. Smog and traffic finally got the better of me so hoping for some clean air down there in Dauin! Would also appreciate it if any of you old Dumaguete hands could recommend a competent motorcycle and diesel jeep mechanic to work on my bike and Kia 4WD respectively. Took me a long time to find both in Cebu and I am starting again from scratch down there! Appreciate any feedback! Cheers - Barry
Looking for a good mechanic Hello Barry, welcome to the forum. You would probably get a much better response if you put the subject of your query in the heading, I.E "looking for a good mechanic". Few people read introductions, for the most part. Personally, I do all my own work because I know what I am doing and I don't know anyone competent to take something to for quality work. Larry
KIA near the Airport made a good impression on me, clean place, looked well managed, for bikes I think GUD across from Siliman Campus, North Highway looks also good and I heard some good reports on them...
Agree with the assesment of the Kia dealership near the airport. I've had our older type Sportage in there a couple of times for maintenance and repairs and they have been very helpful (and not outrageously expensive). Vicmico
