I recently lost my rob rewards card, (the cashier did not give it back) so I went into the customer service and asked if they found my card, the lady pulled out what looked like maybe 100 cards, I said again it’s a lost card she replied yes sir, so all those cards were lost like wow!
My card was not in the pile, I said so what do we do? Now this will rip the fork out of your undies.
Ok sir you need to purchase a new card at p150 (original card P100) and to access you reward points 300 points equates to P300, you need to bring in valid id, which you need to get notarized and a letter stating that I lost my card, at an atny. I said WTF are you serious??????

    Ok original card P100
    replacement card P150
    atny fee min. P800
    tot P1050

So to get P300 in rewards points it costs me P750, so as you could imagine I walked out of there not a very happy little veggie.

To end this long story they found my card somewhere about a week after it was lost. Only in the Philippines OMG

At only half of one-percent it's amazing the many thousands we've racked up since they opened. In more modern markets the shopping data is mined to determine stocking by purchase history, fairly useless here because of no stock. We buy those things at Safeway.com.

We save more at Rob 'buy one take one', both dated items and vendor packs. We often see the same vendor 'free' packs taken apart and sold separately at Lee. We're hoping for a 3rd entrant here to provide some real choice.

At one half of one percent, I'm surprised anybody bothers!

If rob appliances let you use the card then one could rack up some serious points

Screw the card.. give me the direct savings

I do not price compare too many things here. but Imp likes Fancy Feast. However when you added up two cans a day at 42 P at Robinsons or 38 P at Hypermart that little bugger eats better than I do some days. The other thing I compare is Coke... there is usually about a 10% spread on Coke with Hypermart being lower. That seems to beat worrying about some card for 1/2% as mentioned here. However the other day, Robinson had Coke for 3 for 100 P which is a huge savings. I have not really compared a lot of other things, but just the fact that Robinson takes so long at check out because there are seldom bag boys, I go to Hypermart and walk down the wider aisles and check out quicker. If anyone has done any other price comparisons I would like to see posts. I have only really checked Imp and my addictions.. Fancy Feast and Coke. In the mean time I say "Screw the Card, give me the straight cash savings".

We took away P1100 and 2 cartons of Oreos from Rob last week, not to mention 8 2.2 kg bricks of mozzarella for the price of 4. Then, we have 3 ravenous adolescents to cook for, while last I noticed you're only feeding a mouse

Yeah, a mouse with hollow legs! We spend only about P2500 per week in robs, so it would take us quite a while to get many points. Top that off I hate having to give them cards all the time, hell half the time I can't even find my free beer card! Probably won't be online much today as Globe has throttled us due to too much bandwidth, have to use a proxy to get to Dumainfo. Ironically, I'm using "anonymouse".:wink:Larry
