    Hi this may sound stupid but we are going to HONG KONG next month and was wondering if to take USD dollars and change them there or buy H K dollars here .
    I have a bank card that will work at a ATM there maybe that's the way to go . I only have peso,s here at the moment
    whats the best

    Normally spoken it should not be a problem to get cash from an ATM with your bank debit card.
    Very exceptionally you may encounter an ATM which does not accept your bank card.
    As far as I know all ATM within the airport building accept bank card. I always use the one of HSBC.
    There are @least 4 ATM there available, depending on via which terminal you will use the exit.

    Thanks for the help, my BPI card worked ok in bankok and Singapore, ill take some hong kong dollars from here

    Hi all, Up date on the exchange rate , I went to the exchanger in the Check In p h lobby the rate was 5.8 peso to 1 H K dollar by the time he added his charge it was 6.2.
    The long n short of it it will cost me 2thousand peso to exchange 30 th peso

    Does that sound correct to other members?
