Seeds and vegetable seedling I will have available

I purchased the following new vegetable seeds this week. Which I will make available for trade. They are all this year’s crop of seed. (Some of you do not have seed to trade, so you have two choices: go to the store and buy a package of seed you like, or buy individual seed from me. ( I will price my seed at three times the price I pay for them in the individual packs or at a price of 1 P each minimum. ( This is not to make a profit but to cover my costs for getting the seed, and the losses I incur trying to work with individual seeds… no apology. Even at three times the purchase price the individual seeds are pricing out mostly between 1.0 P and 2.0 P a seed so far). The advantage of buying seed this weekend is for 75 P you can have many seeds and varieties, as opposed to buying one packet of seed for 75 P and having more than you need of ONLY the one seed you purchased and you may not use all the seeds.
    Name Brand/Source Comments Price/seed
Basil Condor Quality Seeds 1.0 P
Broccoli – Green King Seeds of Hope Expired seed – trade only
Broccoli – Green Top F1 Condor Quality Seeds 1.0 P
    Cauliflower Ramgo Seeds 1.0 p
    Corn – Sweet Grande F1 East – West Seeds (limited quantity – expired-Trade only)p
Chives (from Kelpguy) For trade only
Cucumber – Poinsett Ramgo Seeds (8-14 Expiration date) 1.0 P
    Dill/Aneth Condor 1.0 p
    EggPlant – Fortuner F1 Condor Quality Seeds 1.5 P
Parsely Curled Yates Seeds 1.0 P
Peppers East – West Seeds (limited quantity) 2.0 p
Sugarpeas – “Minnie White Flowers” Ramgo Seeds 1.5 P
    Tomato Beefsteak Yates 2.0 P
Water Melon –Sugarbaby Condor Qualitfy Seeds 2.0 P
Water Melon –Yellow dew F1 Condor Qualitfy Seeds (limited quantity – 2 left) 2.0 P
Zucchini Hybrid “Felix F1” Condor Hybrid Seeds (Very limited quantity – 2 seeds available – cost 9 P per seed)

Note: the seed that are underlined have been planted in the last few days in pots. There however is no guarantee that they will be ready for this coming Saturday for transport. I will reserve them for you, and continue to grow them until they are ready for transport and transplanting. The quantities planted were typically 10 plants per seed type (except for Zucchini of which there are only 2 pots available), but do not know how many will come up. (Remember I have not idea how well this will be received by the group, what you are looking for etc). I can start more if people want seedlings instead of plants.
Please bring coins and the smallest denomination bills you may have as I may not have enough change if you are planning to buy seed
Others will be bring seeds also.

    Good idea!

Would you be interested if I drop off these seeds to you and your grow them? I have a place for them to grow but still working on cleaning up the lot. At least we can get to.see which one grows in the soil here and which one doesn't since I.got.all these seeds.from australIA.

I would love to try.... as you will note in my early posts... I follow the "learn by doing" motto. I am doing that with most of my seeds now... putting them in sun or shade... moving them about and trying a little variation on the soils I use. I plan to mix my own soils, using sandy soils and organic matter. I am not sure what organic matter is available that will not inhibit the growth of the seedlings. I am looking a palm trees sawdust as there are a few groups around me cutting up palm trees. I how ever have no historical data on the use of cheap readily availbable organic material. Just experimenting... or using "learning by doing" motto.

If you can work on doing some experimenting especially with the.organic compost then I think it'll be great so us,members can follow and learn a thing or two from you. I believe it's healthier and cost effective in growing your own veggies at Home.

If u can give us a sketch of where we should go by Saturday then it'll be great. Thank you
