I have a helper who is very good. I like her, but she is not my g/f. Her mouth is one big mess, bad gums, many teeth needing extraction. I need a competent dentist who can do good denture work, which is what she will need-I cannot afford implants and resolve the gum issues. I want to help this woman because she is a good person.

I have read the threads here about the various dentists, and the one who is recommended most is quite high in her prices imo.
She wanted 1000 for xraying one tooth because her machine is incapable of xraying only one tooth (bad, more radiation).

Has anyone used the dentist next to woof woof, cannot recall her name offhand. Or the dentist whose husband is a lawyer on the road out to the highway going north (on the puj route)? Also there was one recommended that had good prices with the name Chu Clinic in it's name but I could not find an address for it?

The dentist next to Woof Woof (Katherine Segura-Chu) is very good, and a little over half the cost of most.

She also has the "special foreigner price"

I should add that her "cleaning" is a joke. At least my DDS in the US thought so.

Larry, where is Woof Woof??? I need a good dentist ( Dr Segura-Chu) and have found Dr. Garupa to be quite high in her pricing. Thanks in advance for your help.

    Thanks for the replies,

thanks for that and for the other replies. The women everyone recommends here is a good dentist, it's just she's on the high side fee wise, but might be worth it for quality work. She does seem very professional and has good equipment.

Dr. Garupa is a very good dentist, and very gentle. As someone else mentioned though, she doesn't seem to do a very thorough cleaning. My wife was in and out for cleaning in about 10 minutes once, and she never went back. Soon afterward she found Dr. Chu, and is very happy with her. Although she is relatively new and doesn't have all the equipment yet, she too seems very professional.
