Hello, I'm new on this forum although I think I may have an old profile here. I retired from a career in IT in early 2011 and moved to the Philippines 3 weeks later. I have lived in Argao for over 2 years and lived in Cebu City for about a year before that. Was very happy to leave there. I like Argao very much but we have an 18 month old and I don't think the schools in Argao will be adequate so I am interested in Dumaguete. I am looking at Silliman but am open to others. I have not yet visited Dumaguete but will be driving down and doing a reconn in the next few weeks. Would appreciate any tips about schools and life there in general. Thanks.

New Here Ron , Yes , have been a sailor since 1969 . Have been looking for a sailboat here to buy . They tell me that this site has an invisible classified section somewhere in cyberspace and no one has been able to find it ! Regards , Ron
