Ive been a member for a few years but dont remember if I ever did an intro or not. but only a lurker for the longest time as my wife is from the Dumaguete area but we lived elsewhere in the islands since 2009. But now we have relocated just south of Dumaguete proper last fall. My name is Ed..Im american from Maryland. Retired. While I do waste time on the internet hiding from the heat my main thrust these days is beer. I am kinda picky and do enjoy finding out where the better foods and drinks are. AS for beer Im a brewer. I tend to make stronger beer like six abv or higher as the work involved seems to only make sense to do so. Id be interested in hearing from anyone that enjoys Euro ales and american craft beer and doesnt mind spending more like american pricing maybe you can enjoy craft brew as well. Nice to see you pop up on here Ed. We've met and chatted a number of times, usually about beer. I particularly liked the dark beer you brewed - it was a knockout - errr I mean it knocked me out, and that amazing chilli beer kept me moving for days :p.
Ok I know who ya are..lol.. And both those brews are high abv..While I got a lot of raves about the Smoltering Fire .which you called chili beer. My two cents says my porter the Whoopass porter is a much finer drink. Thanks for the compliments ! Ed
