I forgot to turn off the AVR to the TV yesterday and when the power surged back on, it did something weird to our TV and we need to find a repairman. Does anyone know of any good TV repair people? Thanks!!

Thanks, Pat, we were told it was going to be very expensive to repair, and they told us to just spend our money on a new one. Apparently, once these screens go bad it isn't good news. Our tv is on almost 24 hours a day and we have had it for 4 years. We were wondering what the life span was going to be....guess we know now.

What brand is it? There are a few factory service centers in Cebu. It might be worth the trip or at least worth contacting them.
