Need soundproof wall(s) bad! CMU or double wood wall?

Baltoed,thank you for your input. Yes, it is a done deal already. That does not mean I built a soundproof wall, I did not build a soundproof wall after all ; what it means is that in order to solve the problem, I got the hell out of Canday-Ong. I now have more or less three kilometers of soundproofing between me and the problem.
I had to change my entire perspective to truly understand the problem and how to fix it.
Thank you for your input about soundproofing a wall, I logged your info into my head for future reference.

Not a problem..ur more than welcome. But if you want to go at it with heat penetration in mind dont forget do your best to get ahold of tyvec or some other decent moisture barrier. To me the humidity effects me much more than the heat !
