    Let's hope the next hundred years go without two world wars.
    Although I guess it's one more way of keeping the population down!

    a few years ago Philippines did not even have the highest fertility rate per woman in SEA. Laos and Cambodia were both of them ahead, however those two countries' rates are dropping like a stone, like Thailand's rate dropped like a stone from 20 years ago (The Thai rate has nearly halved in that time).

    a bit silly to say the Philippines has one of the highest fertility rates in the world when there are over 50 countries ahead of them on the list.
