I think that product is used to train dogs not to bark, I don't think it would help the OP. Do they really shoot stray dogs?
I had the same problem in Cebu City but it was only 1 dog right outside the b/r window. Ended up moving because of it.

Alex , myself and I am sure a lot of others can understand the complete annoyance of neighbours dogs that continually bark , and bark at nothing , a very frustrating experience , even more annoying if the owner of the dogs doesn't consider their neighbours , quite often that lack of understanding is the result of 'baiting'', it really is arrogance and ignorance on behalf of the owner not to do anything about it

Mike , I may be mistaken , but I think that if someone has that device , it can be activated when the neighbours dog starts barking , therefore enabling the victim to do the training himself , and if it upsets the dog owner , bad luck , because they don't consider their neighbours anyway .
I had a similar situation about 11 years ago in Tanjay , but was fortunate that the dog was owned by my wifes brother , constant whining and barking late at night , after I cracked the poo poo's about it , I noticed the dog was gone , I asked my wife what happened to the dog , and she said the people at the back , I said the people at the back what ? she replied the people at the back eat the dog , so stop complaining.

I live in a walled in apartment complex, 3 residents, and heard that same argument from the dog owner and our landlord. I have since got used to the d*mn dogs that run around the yard freely between 10 pm and 6 am but 3 days ago I heard one of them barking at the gate in a frenzied way. It went on for a few minutes and I finally looked at the clock (5 am) and got up to see WTF was going on. Some filipino guy had his arm through the gate trying to get it to open (it was locked so that was not happening) but as soon as I opened the window to look at him he went away (in a sneaky manner such that I could not get a look at his face).

This was not an earth shattering event but I now get the feeling that someone coming over the wall would get the dogs' attention such that they would bark loud enough to wake me up. Too bad the dog's owner does not wake up but that's life.

I prefer the *koolaid* method. If they don't respect their neighbors enough to control their animals then why should the neighbors respect them and their animals. You have a fence and easy enough to toss some *flavored* morsels their way and certain things are well known to put an end to that barking on a more permanent basis. Just don't keep any evidence around. Not your worry what the dogs randomly eat or not.
