The 2016 Philippines AA National Convention’s theme is “Just for Today”. A.A. members and guests from around the world will celebrate A.A.’s 34th Anniversary in The Philippines. 2016’s convention program includes big meetings held Friday and Saturday night. A banquet Saturday night. And meetings held Sunday morning. All meetings and events occur at Bethel Guest House hotel on Dumaguete’s popular Rizal Boulevard. If you’ve never been to Dumaguete City, this is the time to visit. Alcoholics Anonymous members meet regularly to recover from issues related to Alcoholism. A.A. is active in 175 countries with an estimated membership of over 2 million members. AA World Services is headquartered in New York City, USA. A.A. is a nonprofessional, self-supporting, and multiracial fellowship described by its founder Bill Wilson as “benign anarchy”. A.A. relies on a tradition of attraction rather than promotion to carry its message to those who still suffer from the effects of Alcoholism. There is no age or education requirement. Membership is open to anyone with a desire to stop drinking.
