Good morning all, As my partner and i draw closer to our final court hearing for her anullment (June), i was wondering if anyone here has any advise they can pass on about a Affidavit we will need for her 17 year old daughter, so she can travell, is the Affidavit drawn up by a Lawyer and can anyone recomend a lawyer and cost. Thank You
It's hard to believe that you are involved in an anullment case without a lawyer. Since this is a connected matter, why you don't ask the lawyer who is preparing for the anullment?
Hi firefly, we certainly have a lawyer for the Anullment but she is located in Cebu, but just for Affidavit we where looking local so no travelling if possible, thats the only reason we looking for lawyer here in Dumaguete.
Ausie, there are a few websites that provide you with most of the forms you need. If you go to this site: DSWD Travel Consent Form for Minors | Philippine Legal Forms You can get the consent form you need. Fill it out and get a notary to stamp it (I use Dumaguete City Hall for 120p) so no attorney fee needed. You probably want to go to the following site to understand the requirements and process, as your first step. TRAVEL CLEARANCE FOR MINORS. No need to get an attorney involved or pay a high price for an affidavit. Good luck.
Thanks PatO, been quoted 1700p by dumaguete lawyer, 120p is much more user friendlier, we will follow up the links. Thank you
