Unfortunately, the Mercury transit across the Sun will not be visible from our hemisphere (the Sun will not be out during this time). In years past, I have captured both Mercury and Venus transits. They are pretty cool! The Leonids seldom disappoint. Provided it's not cloudy, I expect to catch several meteors on long exposures. This is a meteor shower that's worth waking up early to watch. I am looking forward to the Jupiter-Venus conjunction! Jupiter is leaving and Venus is taking it's place dominating the Evening sky. For the next 8 months!
