My dad's the first person to assemble a trike here in Dumaguete i guess... at least that's what he told me... It has a Toyota Mini- Ace engine... 4 gears and reverse... a large wheel in the front and two 15 inch car wheels i guess... thing is... its been idle for quite some time now. i also misplaced the positives and negatives of the battery. and it kinda smoked... i told my dad when he took a short vacation back here and he said it cant be fixed cause the damage part cant be replaced cause its an old unit. but i guess hes just busy and not part of his priority yet. hehe i really dont know how or where i could find someone who could help me fix it... thanks ^_^
Usually the only thing to "smoke" when you hook a car battery up backwards (on older vehicles) is the diodes/rectifier in the alternator. Most anything old here can be fixed/replaced. It sounds like your dad just doesn't want to deal with it. You can text me at 0928-312-2177 if you like. Larry
