The set up here at the resort! We also have strawberries growing, and trying to get potatoes growing since they're so darn expensive! Did you know before coming to the resort, I thought pineapples grew on trees?!?! View attachment 11414 View attachment 11415
Now I don't feel too bad, before coming to Philippines I thought pineapples were a root type fruit, like say a carrot! Also I never had tasted fresh Tuna fish, only out of a tin. Potatoes like to be raised up,avoid wet ground, welcome to the forum bye the way.....JB
Yup, that's what we're doing, the potato barrel...thanks to yours truly...in Canada I grew a whole lot of stuff my whole life...both my grandmother and my father had veggie patches, so I learned a lot....I figured the soil here is too tightly packed for taters...but then showed them the barrel idea.
O Canada! Our home and native land! True patriot love in all thy sons command. With glowing hearts we see thee rise, The True North strong and free! :dnr: You go Gurl
(( I kinda prefer this anthem.....The Philippines has been nothing but kind, while Canada is pretty criminal, and has really been a pain in my @ss more than four times )) Sa dagat at bundok, Sa simoy at sa langit mong bughaw, May dilag ang tula, At awit sa paglayang minamahal. Ang kislap ng watawat mo'y Tagumpay na nagniningning, Ang bituin at araw niya, Kailan pa ma'y di magdidilim!!!!!
I am embarrassed to say, but understanding Canuck language is a tad bit easier than Tagalog. Not by much though
