Does anyone know where to locate high fat content avocados here? The rich and creamy types like Haas, Sherwil, or similar. The ones I have been able to find are the smooth skinned watery varieties like available in Florida. I want to find the ones with the high fat content. Do they exist here?
Yes, they are grown here and I have eaten them, I don't know their names though, I think you should be able to buy them at the Sunday morning "Paunay"? Market up in Valencia...
Yes, certainly had them in Manila and Bacolod so they are around.....bloody good too......and about one-tenth the price of down here....
