    When my wife and I returned from a vacation last April I got a balikbayan visa on entry, at the request of my wife. We're now planning another vacation but the question is:- Do I need an exit clearance certificate to leave the country? TIA

    As long as you leave the country within the 1 year of your balikbayan stamp, no ECC needed. If you need to extend your visa first, then you'll be a tourist again and will need ECC.
