Does anybody have experience with installing an inexpensive bamboo fence around their property. Just something strong enough to keep dogs in and delineate the property line. What might I expect to pay per meter?

Ask in your neighbourhood where to get the Bamboo, it depends where you need it, if it's Rural you should have no problems getting it somewhere nearby, buy "Go'od" for the posts, that's the lowest/oldest/hardest part of the Bamboo, it's sometimes solid without a chamber.
If you have sandy soil and good drainage, such a post will last a few years, if you put them into concrete footings, so that they have no contact with the ground, they will last 10 and more years...

Two bamboo shops on the highway into town just past the new bridge, one on each side of the road.
