Easy. Call your US bank or email them 1st & if someone at the bank knows you personally they may send to an account here once they know it is you that holds the account. If you do not know someone from your bank than learn how to e-transfer (limit is 7000 usd) per month last time I read. Instead of 5 paragraphs of info without even knowing if you have even online banking account watch e-transfer videos (Philippines) and hopes you work it out. If you do not have online banking, go to your banks page and make an account. All online banks allow you to message them and they will answer in a timely fashion numorous avenues to get your money to you. -To any Member or guest that is still in your home Country, always visit your bank before coming to the Philippines for a prolonged period and set up at least 3 ways with a banking member to get your money here or you may be in for a heck of a stressful stay. Cheers! And remember.........((Dares MOOOOOOO Money in the Philippines)) if you put all your money in a briefcase, declare it when you leave and hide it in a real good place once yah get here! Done that 3 times now, makes life easier.
One of my bank accounts is with Citibank in the USA. I currently have a house under construction and have transferred over $18000.00 to the contractors bank account at one time. Used 'Transfer to any External Account' and added contractor's account as one of my external accounts.
Thank you for the insight. Was your contractors account a US dollar account? What was the fee? I assume that it is easier to add a US dollar account as an external account.
Pretty easy. You need the routing/SWIFT number of your bank here and that's about it. Your bank may have limits and fees, you would need to contact them to find out what those are.
Yes. You cannot wire transfer from a US bank account that doesn't exist. You can wire transfer between most baking institutions around the world. The only exception I know of would be countries that have sanctions placed against them. What exactly are you wanting to accomplish?
Simply wire money from a USA Bank to my bank here but not having an open account with the bank or banks in USA
I tried adding our account at BDO to our US account and it won't work, they don't recognize the swift number as a legal routing number. I sure there are workarounds at the bank, may have to go in person and talk to someone.
