Handyman will occasionally have a couple of double stainless steel grills, but very expensive. Given it is near summer, you can ask when they might get stock. You can also have one made for you. Mike, at Mike’s Beach Resort in Dauin had two stainless steel grills made, I bought his first one from him and he had another very large one made. They are built much better and cost less than the ones sold here when in stock. You are welcome to have a look at mine or drop by and see Mike’s.

Crazy2004, Mike does not make barbq grills, he simply hd two made. There is a small local fabricator in Bacong who made the grills and does pretty good work with stainless steel. Labor is cheap here, materials bot so.

No contact number. I can give you directions when you arrive. My suggestion would be to take a picture of one you want copied nd the specs (maybe Barbecues Galore, for example, has a website).

The fabricator is located on the east (mountain) side of the highway in San Miguel about a quarter mile past the main crossing that goes up to the high school. It sits back from the road, don’t know if the have sign but will check later today when we go past it to pick up my boy at school.

Thats great. But I have a *but* I gotta add. PLEASE dont think me in any way unappreciative..and I fully understand the discriptive nature of directions in the Philippines like posting things like *past the big bent tree* simply because there are NO road signs. For me..and others that have no idea of what is where when and how in this area its still pretty hard to follow the probably very accurate directions for instance your San Miguel refererence makes my mind think.. *I thought he said in Bacong* When its probably true that you are just giving a more defined location..even the term *in Bacong* becomes difficult to follow..at least for someone as myself. So to that what I am going to do is attach a screen grabbed map image to this post off of google maps .. Just possibly you might be so inclined to open it on your computer and put a red dot or something that map to really narror down all the possibilities of searching. To wit ..I am of the belief if that was done on all posts it would make it soooooo much more easier for the unknowledged person to find what he seeks..diba?.. If thats not doable..maybe a image of the front of the place from your cell phone added would be helpful to people as well. I didnt want to ask that as I think the map is a better way to go..more simple and pretty definitive. and the google maps are pretty good and can be as I said screen grabbed..

As you have first hand info of some of this persons work Im also going to ask you what shape do you think is easier for this guy to follow.. I mean does he have a break? a tool to bend and form square corners very nicely or would a round shape be better. I am of the opinion that retangualar objects are easier to make as then it doesnt take a lot of work cutting angles for welding..but each craftsman to his own skill set. So that said. what direction would you suggest..round or square?? I have over thirty years of design experience so I could over load with drawings and sketches for a fabricator to follow even if we dont speak the same tongue..*LOL*..

I look at this as a very hopeful bit of info.. and now Im thinking dont get too happy Ed.. expectations can KILL...hehehe

Ok think I will close this for now and go work on that basic little map and I will post it in the thread.. did I say THANK YOU yet? THANK YOU
