Hi Everyone, Here is a problem that is in need of a solution . I love the german beer at Casablanca and the local SM Extra Dry, Zero and "Lemon Flavored" Beer. I obviously do not wish to drink and then drive, meaning I prefer to have a few cold ones at home. Where can I get a case (or two) without paying some of the excessive charges for single bottles. I know everyone needs to make money, but I go to Casablanca - and "BANG" I blow a couple of thousand pesos. After all - at Casablanca the food is just too good not to eat. And then there is the deli. And the variety of beer. Anyways - a "bottle shop" or "liquor shop" for the better word of it. Nobody seems understand the concept as most buy their SM Pilsen at the local corner shop. As always - feedback is appreciated. Norbert
Norbert not sure about German Beers but you will find that some of the mid range Mini Marts will sell you cases at Bodega prices as they call it. You pay a one off Crate and bottle deposit on your first order and then do a top up Exchange on the next buy, I will have a Word with my local man and see what he can offer and that will give you a guide. just as thought, Shawn "M" is in Tanjay maybe he can help you out here, I am sure he will have some know how on the local Supply JP
The prob is with San mig extra dry and premium is its always in short supply as they only make a certain amount which is never enough. I happened to be talking to a resort owner about this the other day and even he cannot get it! I kept on to him and eventually managed to get two crates, that didn't last long!
