    I can't find that quote Stefan, and many here will be aware I often use quotes myself.
    In the spirit of Christmas and the subject of oppression, a quote from the daily read, in which I continue to find comfort and solutions.

    Some of us have been here well over 10 years. As was stated earlier we have heard the complaints many times and some us also b*tched and moaned about the Philippines' shortcomings early on. However, over time we have focused on the many positives of living here. After all, we are guests in their country and thankful for being able to live here and raise families.

    As a very HIGH paying guest of this country between Immigration fees and the high degree of skin tax applied to us Foreigners, not to mention the Millions of Pesos I have parted with in my little over 10yrs of being here, added to that I am a relative Newbie to this site not having been a member here for 10yrs or more, have I not earned the right to have a little b*tch and moan about the place?

    I have been viewing posts on this forum for that long but did not feel the need to post anything until way after my first peek but lurking is just not as much fun as participating or so I believe.

    So true! When my son was 11 he was just as tall as me. Now he is a few inches taller, but all my uncles were taller than 6 feet, I must have enjoyed a really bad diet in my youth.
