The US has killed the Boys Scouts of America due to bankruptcy caused by lawsuits because of so many disgusting perverted homo Boys Scouts leaders. How is the Scouts situation in Europe? My 6th grade boy is in the scouts at his school; however, sadly this is his last year because Scouts not allowed from at his school from 7th grade on. I imagine because of the US occurrences. There is so much that he would have learned that I can't teach him.
I was a Boy Scout then went on to become a Sea Scout, then Regular Force Army when I got to 18. Never encountered any abuse. Here in this image I am 6 and a half years old marching in a Parade, past my Fathers Pharmacy store in St.Mary's Ontario, June 1967. Also included image at 18, just graduated boot camp!

I was a Scout from 11yrs old to 16yrs old, it certainly was a learning curve which help me with confidence and leadership. Sadly it is a different world today when you have to consider safety and protection.
I'm not so sure your Boy will be missing out on much? there is 3 ways to do a job, the right way, the wrong way or The Pinoy way, this way is the fastest. cheapest and likely to last just until the end of the day, I'm sure the Scouts in PH will be run a whole lot different to that of any first world country, THE PINOY WAY.
