Motor burned out on master bedroom ceiling fan (only 2+ yrs old). Would you recommend repair or replacement?
Further, the motor capacitor simply gets burned out owing to overheating or age. However, the chances of burning motor capacitors may increase when your ceiling fan is way too old. Solution: there is a single solution for this problem which is to replace the motor capacitor.
Like Crystalhead said the capacitor has probably failed. It's fairly easy/cheap to repair. As you come from Bacong go past the Ceres bus terminal, cross the bridge. Turn right on the first street and there is a small repair shop just around the corner on the left side of the street. They shop also repairs some appliances. Blenders and microwaves I believe.
