Only lived here a short time, but one of the things that I like about Dumaguete is that there are usually things going on, but I only know or find out about them if I happen to stumble on them. I have been lucky to stumble on the following: 1. There was some kind of "dance competetion" near the park downtown that was really nice. 2. We went to the Miss Dumaguete and Miss Teen Dumaguete Coronation at the Sports Complex. 3. Christmas parade one Sunday night downtown. It would really be nice if there was something like a "calendar of events" with dates and locations. Unless there is already one, another Subject like "Upcoming Events" could be added to the Forum here and members who are aware of upcoming events could post them so others would know about them.
