BY HOSTING the fourth Southeast Asian Creative Cities Network (SEACCN) forum this June, Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Cebu Director Nelia Navarro hopes Cebu can boost its position as one of Asean’s cultural cities. As part of Cebu Business Month this June, the forum aims to increase the public’s awareness of the value of creativity, culture and innovation as drivers of economic development and economic growth. “I want us to be proud and excited to be part of this community,” Navarro said, adding that the community is committed to nurturing creativity, something Cebu has an abundance of.
