I did a search, and its been a few years since this question was asked. Im hoping for a more favorable response than "theres a guy in Cebu" :-) The travel arrangements alone will undo whatever the chiro can do. Theres a guy up in Ermita that I have had excellent luck with, but the need for regular visits to Manila is cost prohibitive. So, any chiropractors out there?
seems like there just came one back: http://www.dumagueteinfo.com/board/dumaguete-city/osteopath-8305-2.html#post79344 I am sure you know Jellyfish from Apo Vista who can give you the number
I did post asking same ? before . Perhaps the korean guy has returned. I prefer osteopaths as they are skilled and highly trained . Choropractors [in UK] dont need qualifications to practice. Would be good to know there was someone local and reliable .
Actually, they are different, osteopaths are medical physicians (Doctor of Oteopathy, or D.O.) but have also received extensive training in the musculoskeletal system and can, indeed, perform chiropractic maneuvers. They are great family doctors since they treat the whole body and in the U.S. there are even hospitals for Doctors of Osteopathy, where they perform all the same functions as Medical Doctors (M.D.). All my life, my first choice of physicians was always a D.O., they always seemed to take more time with you than the rushed M.D.'s. There is a great article on the differences here: Osteopath Vs.
