The last few years I seem to crave chocolate after eating. I tell myself about the calories but self not listening. Anyone else with this problem?

Pat mate, Chocolate is good for post Stroke
    ***** From a Health Website****

Is dark chocolate good for stroke recovery?

Eating dark chocolate can help prevent the formation of blood clots. Dark chocolate is also rich in iron, which is important for blood health. These health benefits of dark chocolate make it a good food to eat while recovering from a stroke.

I was eating just much sweet food after my meals. Then I tried adding more legumes and my desire for sweets disappeared.

I take 90% dark chocolate, exception being chocolate cake from Toby's Signature Cakes, Dauin.

I have an old friend that swears that chewing Coco beans as a snack has some kind of nutritional value.
My brother in law has for as long as I can remember has always ate dark chocolate, he's 96 and still going strong.
So yes I agree, there is benefits from eating Dark Chocolate.

I unfortunately am in the same boat -with delicious western style quality chocolate..... But it is mostly sugar, with almost nothing from the cocoa beans.

I'd like people here to define "black chocolate".... what percent industrial sugar? Percent ADDED? 150, 300% added?

I have no problem blaming the World War Covid for my new addiction to UTube and also to sugar..... And I am not the type to be addicted, but I now CRAVE the quality [does that mean the sweetest?] chocolate..... Just now salivating thinking of Toblerone!

So I am with PatO here, sadly.

Good quality dark chocolate isn't sweet at all.

A piece of dark chocolate snd s glasd of goid red wine a day and you could be on the safe side.

A piece of sweet milk type chocolate or chocolate bar and a glass of sweet red wine a day would be the opposite.

I didn't know that when I brought a pile of 85% cocoa chocolate back with me for pasalobong. My wife was not too happy. None of my relatives complained as they are polite. It tasted like Bakers Chocolate. Yuck!!!
