Would there be some experienced (more or less) Dirt Bike/Enduro Riders interested in exploring the back-roads south of Dumaguete, I was today in Valencia and moved from up where the big cell tower is, south to “Mampas” and from there down and up again to “Timbao”, the first part is perfect little concrete roads with the occasional dirt road, the second part after “Mampas” is the other way around and needs some skill or high level of fitness to master, the whole trip was about an hour, a Yamaha YBR, Honda XLR/XR would be good, I am not interested in a competition, I can show you the different roads/tracks and views so that later you can show them to others or ride there again on your own...
I reckon nobody likes to break his neck or risk a dent in the bike but all this roads are traveled by Pedicaps, Jeepnees and Motorbikes even Scooters, that's what "Manzanita" meant when he wrote "The Filipino is a very good driver but a bad motorist"... anyway the window for the trip is already closing again with the Typhoon hitting us...
Too busy at the moment, but definitively interested if it comes up again, in like 2 months or so. Have done southern Cebu pretty well. Found some nice tracks here if you come this side of the water.
I have done one or two on south Cebu but at the moment I have no need to go to Cebu, today would have been good but a lot of people around on Sunday. I will bring it up again if the roads are not getting to badly damaged by the Typhoon...
Interested in ride. I would be interested in going on a ride, seeing some nice natural scenery if possible .... or bikinis on the beach :p ( I guess that is natural too) ... both types rides interest me. Even a mid-night drunken run around the inside of the Why Not disco could be fun... except it might get us banned for life. O-|
