Over night, The Philippine Star reported DTI in order to slow panic buying DTI previously limited quantities of grocery items one could purchase at one time. That order has now been lifted... as long as stocks last. During ECG shutdown, manufacturers who produce local brands had to restart fresh, finding their ingredient suppliers in the same situation. Out of stock national favorite brands may continue to be out of stock as the manufactures restart their production lines and consumers resume panic buying.
