The Dumaguete City Tourism Office posted this list of vendors that are delivering during the ECQ. Short list, but it sounds like they will add to it as they can. https://docs.google.com/document/d/...qpSZ0Q91XhVzYuUPeXAAqjlDaoqsmWNeXesWJahC3Jo2k I won't comment on the pricing, not my turf. Well, OK, I DID say Hoy! saw the price of Mangos towards the bottom. Granted they were out of Mangos when the wife went to the market in Daro on Tuesday, but still....
As a frequent frequent shopper at the main tyangee in Dgte some of the prices are extortionate considering there is also a delivery charge involved the fish thats being sold is over priced by 40-50% even though its free delivery the broccoli and caulifowers are still in the developmental stage as regards growing quality (the locals dont buy them, and have been sitting around for weeks, with bits being chopped everyday) mangoes are in season now(we just harvested our 2 weeks ago) and others are knocking on our door to buy as they harvested theirs too (100 pesos per kilo, and even thats a little on the high side considering the quantity about) the pork is about right give or take ( i suggest that the wife/girl does the talking if your going to order) so you dont get stuck with a lump of tambok and if you do buy meat, better weigh it yourself when it gets to its destination ( mother in law used to sell that NFA rice so I bought her a good weighing scale) but she gave it up as wasnt worth the effort as fuxx all profit in it, so we have the scale here so we use it when ever some one comes selling with goods thats been weighed already. ha ha ha ha amazing how they can go from 1 kilo, 2 kilo, 4 kilo 5 kilo if you do purchase, dont blindly accept eveything at face value, check for quality (fruit not squashed or over ripe) and check the weight if possible dont accept the fruit got squashed in delivery lark etc etc etc and try to have as close as possible to the final price in ready cash........so you dont get the Wala sukli sir !!!!! and you get stuck with the Hipusa ang sukli
I'd like to see a similar list but "restaurants that are open for takeouts and/or delivery". A few that I know of: Neva's Pizza (Dgte, Valencia) : pickup, delivery Casablanca (Dgte): pickup, delivery Biryani Point (Bacong, but delivers to multiple towns): pickup, delivery
So Hypermart goes online. Might be helpful, although it's for pickup, not delivery. The app seems functional, but haven't actually tried it all the way through pickup. HEADZ UP NegOr Easy Shopping I’m time of Crisis Hi! To give you better service amidst this time of crisis, we would like to invite you to try ordering your groceries online. I exchanged messages with Lee Plaza yesterday. The supermarket was listed with Dgte Office Tourism as delivering. However, my correspondent said it was suspended, although Food Panda will deliver from Cimbali Coffee and the allied bakery. I gather that they tried delivery, and it did not work out.
