What? I figured he had some issues, that's why I asked . There is really only two purposes of having an electric fence:
    1. Keep large farm animals in
    2. Keep assholes out
    I'm betting it's number 2.

@PatO No experience here in Philippines but in US had experience with electric fencing for animals. There are fence chargers as they are called, hooked directly to a single strand of wire that sends a pulse thru the wire. It will keep horses, cattle or about anything aware from that wire as it will know the crap out of them, or you, (personal experience). They are relatively inexpensive at about 100 to 200 dollars depending on make and model, easy to install and very effective. They are not lethal, although the one being shocked won't think so. The wire leaving the charger must return to the other side of the charger to complete the circuit. There are devices you can use for gates and other ways to access thru the loop.

Thanks guys. We went and talked to our police department to find out what happened here and about the electric fence. Two guys with guns were by the mayor's house, around the corner from my house, and they ran up my street with guns when the cops came and finally caught one of them later. The police said they were on a mission (?) and were high on beetle nut. The police suggested we get a CCTV instead of electric fence, so I will talk to Mike (Mike's Beach Resort) about his CCTV and have one installed. You need to obtain a permit to put up an electric fence here.

Glad to hear things are OK there now Pat! ( Well calmed at least now they are caught) I can understand your wanting some additional Surveillance, you have had more than your fair share of problems of late.
Our Barangay Captain would not give clearance for an electric Fence here so we never Followed it up with the City. Hope things get sorted my friend.

3 phase 480, it's not an electric fence, it's power for my awesome light system that I'm having troubles with. People keep grounding out the wires. The lights will come later when I have budget.
