This is posted for the benefit of British members and for anyone who may have internet business concerns which involve contact with UK. British Summer Time will officially end at 2 a.m. (UK time) on Sunday 30th October. At this time, the clocks in UK will be put back by one hour, and the UK will revert to Greenwich Mean Time for the duration of the winter. Under BST, the Philippines is +7 hours on UK time, therefore this change will take place at 9.a.m. (Philippines time) on Sunday 30th October, when the Philippines will become +8 hours on UK time. Clear as mud now?? Roger
same in Sweden, at 3am time will be knocked back to 2 am. And just some funny/interesting fact, since i work shift we sometimes work night shift on saturdays, now to be kind to the team who work afternoon shift we start the night shift 2 hours earlier thus making it a 10 hour shift. Now that means that the team who work night shift today have to work 11 hours cus of the change to what we call "wintertime" (fyi i had afternoon shift today so im good )
U.S. will change Nov. 6, 2:00am back to 1:00am. For daylight savings changes around the world, you can view this site: Daylight Saving Time Around the World 2011
GMT comes to an end tomorrow and British Summer Time starts in UK. At 0100GMT (0900 local) on Sunday 25th March the clocks in UK go forward by one hour. So if you have business interests or family and friends in UK, remember that from 0900 Philippines time 25th March 2012 you will be 7 hours ahead of the UK.
It appears I've made a mistake. Daylight Saving Time starts on Sunday, 25 March and ends on Sunday, 28 October for Ireland. A baking powder :D
