EVG 3-D panels

Hello,

I'm going to use the 3-D panels for the interior and exterior walls since I've heard good things about them and they look like a much better option than CMU. We've just started trying to source them and so far the wife has found a place in Dumaguete that has them and they are quoting 2,350 peso for each panel at 1.22m X 3m. This is my first time dealing with these panels so was curious if anyone had sourced them before, where they found them and how much were they going for.

I was able to get a couple phone numbers for distributors in Cebu today and the wife will call them tomorrow, but figure it would be logistically easier if we could find them around Dumaguete.

We used EVG for the entire resort. Works well. We paid about half of that, but that was between 2003 and 2010 i believe. We got them through Cebu Bionics Build and Atlantic Hardware in Cebu.

CMU-concrete masonry unit or what they call hollow block in the Philippines. Been calling it CMU all my life so I forget to say hollow block, has gotten me with a lot of blank stares from the locals.

I'll have to get back to you on where my wife found the panels once she gets back at the end of the day, I know she started asking around at Matio and they pointed her in the right direction.

How difficult is it getting things shipped from Cebu? Never tried it which is why my first options were to explore where to find locally.

Matiao runs a truck every day. Priced reasonable, but you gotta get it to their bodega in the pier area in cebu and then pick it up in Duma.

I guess Matiao also does construction and they are the ones that have the panels. The wife says they have a pretty good stock of the panels. She also went by where they were installing them on a project in Dumaguete (at a distance so no pics).

Just an update on my search; called a company in Cebu that was given as a distributor from Eastern Wire of the EVG panels and was quoted 1,390 peso for each 4X8 panel. They say they can also take care of handling all the shipping. I did not have the best connection (calling on Skype) so will have the wife follow up and will pass on more details once I get them (shipping/delivery, lead time etc.). They also will be emailing me brochures and their price list for the other construction materials they carry.
