I often forget just how huge the internet is. So this is a reminder to others as well, if you're tired of this forum for any reason, there are several alternatives, imnsho, some better, where you can post about Dumaguete and related issues. It's all just a google search away, if you know how to search.

Thats easy enough to do. I mean, if you just want to post you can start your own blog. Problem is, its all about who is actually reading what you post. As you see, people in this forum actually read what you post whether they agree with you or not.

 

Anything you type online IS Public Property, so you had better be prepared to back up what you write, and you will need a thick skin when you meet that one Clown who disagrees merely because they can...

Anything you do not want aired SHOULD be done Face to Face, remembering if you opt for PM (Private Message) a revelation is only a couple of clicks away with *Copy & Paste*...

Trouble is many who do not possess the ability to think, engage their mouth before putting their Brain into Gear.

I write my Response in Microsoft Word.
I Spell Check what I have written.
I Read again what I have written.
I Check for better ways to say what I have written.
Often, by the time I have come this far, I have thought about what I am doing...
Is it worth Posting?
Do I wish to defend anything I have Written?
Then I Make my Decision...

This is the Crossroads of now or never, no regrets, or will you?
Sometimes just writing it all down is enough to get it off my chest without causing WWIII so I often simply Delete the Words that will cause a major catastrophe... Other times I proceed feeling strongly enough to be prepared to back up my opinion.

Sorry, this doesn't make much sense. Could you be more specific? Many of the people who post here are people I know. I could easily have a coffee or a meal with them. What's the difference between talking to people I know here or talking to them somewhere else?

One place may have better food than other place, but DI doesn't serve food.

One forum might have a completely different crowd, but that would no longer be the case if you come in here inviting everyone here to check out the other forum.

 

To my mind , here is how I equate this ; your footy team is struggling a bit , so instead of contributing more and creating a solid environment , you walk into the clubhouse and say to the rest of the team "hey fella's the other teams are ok , they have a better clubhouse than us , let's just walk out and join their team . Well Unkonven I would hate to be stuck in the trenches with you , if you find other sites more interesting , by all means knock yourself out and visit /contribute to them , we are big boy's here we know how to use google , we are here because we want to be , and that includes hanging around for the up's and the downs , the creation of this thread gives me the impression that you don't have the comradery that the other members , including myself , have with each other here . Rather than promote dissent find something interesting or informative to post instead of the f*cking sh*t above . And also pull your your head in . Instead of negativity we need positivity at the moment , so rather than take hike (which is what I felt like telling you to do) hang around and help us improve the forum , I challenge you to come up with something interesting , funny or informative . don,t take my post to heart , but instead make amends for your bad post ,
