Frank Carson has passed away in the UK. Will mean something to the Brits on here, Another childhood Hero pass's on, Met him in the Oman, He was exactly the same as his stage persona. Very warm & friendly( man Rest in peace frank, You were a ''Cracker'' Mark....:(
Yes, quite sad. Frank was 85 and it was cancer that got him in the end. He is surely one of the best comedians to come out of Ireland in half a century. He was naturally funny, as comical in real life as he was on stage, and a master of the one liner. Much of his time was spent caring for his wife Ruth who had severe sight problems, and he did a huge amount of charity work devoted to bringing the two sides of the divide together in Northern Ireland. A great comic, great entertainer, and one of a fast-disappearing breed of genuine jokers.
