I have been contemplating if we could start a gardening group, i dont like clubs much with all its formality, however a group of people that have a common interest ( gardening) to share knowledge, success n failures, garden visits, group outings, guest speakers ect. Open to all comers lets know if you are interested.
Alex, in all honesty I feel you are doing a great Job with things now. Keeping all your updates on this Thread you have Started I am sure will will get you plenty of response from those that are Interested. Whilst I am No Gardner I do follow your Writings as I am sure many of us do. JP
hay alex... i'd like to get together and talk garden with folks, especially gardeners using natural ingredients. i was happy to hear about your recent visit to green farms and i wanted to comment on it and also your 45 day chicken post and garden update post. and... i wanted to write a report on our latest dry season gardening experience, the kabir chickens, worm composting and more but i can't seem to find time to sit down at the computer and write a message, guess i'm saving that for old age... norm : ))~

Hi all, new shots from around our minie garden, lesson learned ill pass on .In May i put 20% rice hull in my pot plant mix this was great until the rain came then the pots did not drain plants became water logged and stopped growing because of no oxygen reaching the roots .Answer i put 30% sand in the mix for drainage
