Hello Guy's I need car insurance, I have asked about this a long-time ago but lost all information as I was not in Duma then, I want a company that will actually pay out if the unthinkable happens,

I use Standard Insurance Company, who are a subsidiary of Zurich Insurance.

    2/F Plaza Dona Milagros Building,
    Corner Perdices and Pinili Street.
    Dumaguete.

No complaints up to now, but I havn't had to make a claim either, so who knows.

If any has had a positive experience with any insurance here please, please post it, my only time was a minor incident, both in the wrong. the problem was the paper work, it was up to me to fill it out and submit it. It really was obviously meant to deter a claim. Never seen so much requirements for a claim in my life. I ended up just paying the few hundred myself than the hassle of it. Even the insurance office manager was confused how to process, so he claimed.

Maybe ask first, who will be the one to fill up and process any claims before buying a coverage...

In the Philippines, you go for the cheapest, useless, obligatory insurance or for the expensive and good all risk insurance.

I am using Standard Insurance for over 10 years now and had a nasty accident with a Motor Bike a few years back, my wrong (overtaking) and the Insurance payed with no delay after I submited all the reciepes from the Hospital and for the Drugs.
The insurance for the Bike did not cover any 3th. party damages on Vehicles or property but payed only medical expenses up to the limit of 100'00Php per incident.
My own expenses and damages were not covered but for less than a 1000Php premium a year I did not expect more, the Guy assignet to my case was very helpfull and gave me some helpfull tips how to handle the situation.
