    My parents had a Great Dane. Nice dog...probably a bit too nice...didn't stop their house from being broken into. Worst quality was its gas problem....whenever it farted it was a rush to open the windows....and hang your head out..

    Otherwise a great pet though....very friendly and a lot more gentle then it looked.

    My Great Dane just had 16 puppies (that's right), but saddly none of them lived. It was way too many for her, and this was her first time. I will mate her again when she comes into heat this summer.
