    I'm looking to take the electric cord from someone's broken, dead, useless window air conditioner. I don't want one that has been cut off as I need both ends intact so I will have to remove it myself.

    Anyone know where there is a dead aircon that I can salvage or know where I could get such a cord on the cheap? The unit is a 3/4 hp but the cord off a 1 hp or even a 1.5 hp will likely fit.

    Matiao should be able to make a power cord for you very cheaply. Just make sure you know the amperage the AC will be drawing and what type of end plug you will need.

    Why not go to Polaris and as they are A/C dealers they will know exactly what you want, just take the name and model with you and they will make it as you Stand there.
