as I understand, if there are no transports to airports anymore; there will be also no exit -/ escape- / evacuation - flights

 

Depends on how much money you have.

Wanted to post this but the time is already over.

 

The last stranded tourists from Poland were evacuated by an aircraft chartered from LOT Airlines. The aircraft started picking up passengers in Palawan then went to Cagayan de Oro and then Cebu before going on to Manila to get the last strandee.

It is said the Philippine Coast Guard assisted gathering up those needing to leave and transferred them to the nearest larger airport. The Department of Foreign Affairs, DFA had to negotiate with Governors to allow foreigners to get on their island without quarantine and the Bureau of Immigration to forgive overstaying without penalty payment.

Regardless of our politics or nationality in times of crisis it is hopeful to see government deliver.
