On 13th Dec i placed an order with Lazada, this was for something i order quite regularly and it usually takes up to 7 days to come but this time it was estimated delivery of 12 days, i put the increase in delivery time down to it being the Christmas period so no problem.
Then we all know what happened on the 16th, my delivery never came after 12 days so on Sunday 26th i tracked it and got, estimated delivery 27th by 10pm, never came, tracked it again and this time estimated delivery 28th by 10pm, never came.
I called their hotline just in case my package was in Dumaguete but they had nobody to deliver then i would pick up, listened to press this for that and that for this then the dreaded recorded music for 5 min then gave up, when i checked my balance it had cost over 50 pesos to listen to this shite.
I know there has been a typhoon they know there has been a typhoon so why don't they just come out and tell the truth that they don't know when they will deliver ?

They sent me notifications saying my packages would be delayed. I can't remember the exact reason but it was pretty clear it was related to the typhoon.

    I don't know.
Today, New Years Eve Dec 31, I received 2 packages ordered from Shopee and delivered by J&T Express. I have been receiving packages regularly with a little pause immediately after the typhoon.

I was able to place orders shortly after the typhoon and those shipments are making progress past Cebu.

Items being shipped from China now have a notice about the typhoon.

Now on Shopee, I am not able to place an order for items being delivered from China. Simply states shipping option not available. I do not know if I can buy local items now.

My wife says she cannot order from Shopee as there are no delivery options available. But items ordered a few weeks ago are arriving currently. I also note the huge number of trucks stacked near the port and was told it is due to an LPA - not sure if that means a backlog due to previous LPA.

I'm receiving Lazada orders from ninja. There was a bit of a delay on orders placed before the typhoon but things are smoothing out now. Be patient, there are people on this island without electricity and water, your (our) delayed online shopping is really not that big of an issue.

Since our province produces almost nothing, we could NOT figure out why all the trucks, but then someone else GUESSED that the trucks are here until Mindanao gets it's logistics and ports back in order.

As a side note, we have had three important air shipments from the states done by ShippingCart.com since early november including just before Christmas and just before new years. NONE of the packages took over 14 days (including customs in manila), and all were less than 1/3 cost of fedex, usps, or dhl. We also have a 20# box on sea cargo, due 26 Mar (75 days) for only $30...

You ship to a special warehouse in hayward california, initiate shipping online, enter credit card and voila.. If you need to talk to a human, you are outta luck, but everything else is pretty flawless. Email response within 24 hours tho, used it a few times. NEVER an ignored email.. Special addresses for similar service in UK, AU, KR...
