Looking for a good place to get diver certification

    I am planning to visit the Philippines next year with my wife. While we are there I would like to stay at a dive resort somewhere close to Dumaguete and get my dive certification. This should be in mid February and I would like to try and start making reservations (or at least plans) now so that it will be easier to budget time and money for the trip.

    Mike's Dauin Beach Resort or Liquid Dive Resort seem to be popular ones. Price range should be 10-15k for certification if I remember correctly.

    I have tried getting in touch with Mikes twice via there internet sight, but have not yet received a response.

    Easy Diving offers certification at our Eden Resort. It's on the Cebu side, 25min boat trip from Sibulan.

    A lot of my guests in my restaurant near Dauin are students and instructors from various dive resorts. Names that keeps coming up as a first class school and very fair in pricing is Liquid Dive resort and Dauin dive shop. I am not a diver, but these are both worth checking out.
