Anyone have any suggestions on a decent beach resort in Panglao (needs to be ON the beach). Not looking for too pricey as I've seen recommendations for Bohol Beach Club but very pricey especially as now its peak season. I'm hoping for something 1500-2k but maybe 2500 a night. Don't need fancy ameneties but standard what you expect in a hotel in Dumaguete or most of the Philippines with a nice beach and possible swimming pool. I'd rather spend my money touristing and sight seeing then a fancy resort. Thanks
Never stayed here, but for what it's worth, last year I was searching for a resort near Bacolod, and in my search came up this YouTube. Place looked pretty nice but no name and I couldn't track it down in Negros. Turned out they incorrectly identified the location - it's actually in Bohol. I was able to identify it as Isis Bungalows. On the beach, seems reasonably priced, decent resto, but no pool. Maybe someone who has actually stayed there can give a real review. resorts in Alona Beach Lost Horizons---make sure it is the beach resort, not the annex or a favorite is Trudis---both are on the beach If being right on the beach is not critical,Le Elephant Bleu is good and more cost effective--enjoy your trip!
