Charlie, there is a trainer at World Fitness here (Corner Silliman and Perdices) that is a heavy duty dude trained in most martial arts including TKD. They teach a kick boxing clinic there but I am sure you can hire him as a personal trainer. His name is Jae Brown, cell 09359701985, you can tell him Patrick referred you, if interested. Btw, he is originally from Kentucky.

I have plans on going there myself. I just met him 2 days ago. 3rd dan in KarateDo. I am also looking for someone to spar a bit with. What is your prior experience & age if I may ask ? I have some history in Tae Kwon Do. I'll let you guess my age if we ever meet. lol
Elementary Tae Kwon Do information I am also a little interested in some Tae Kwon Do information. I had a few lessons before leaving the US. I am only looking for a little street defensive type of information. No competition or anything else...just enough to keep the lady boys at a distance....lol The person who opened the thread has been banned from this forum. Probably partially because of his vendetta against World Gym and advertising campaign for other gyms on the forum. So I would not take too much of what he says as real. Following his advice has led me to disappointments in the past.
Excuse me for my lack of knowledge about these computer gizzmos' and a senior moment not realizing the person in question is banned from the site. Can you explian to me in laymans language how if a person is banned they still do posting ? I was born confused and a month late so please be patient with an old guy. lol I will ignore him/her from now on. Anyhow did you see my post about the fellow in town that teaches KarateDo ? it is very similar to TKD. If you'd like to do a face to face sometime and discuss posibilities of some basic methods to fend off the average jerk, begger, jerkette, or the lady/boys let me know. My main issue in practicing is not having all the equipment or partner and space to practice it in. I guess there is some way on this site to do a conversation without the whole world knowing.
