To the Local Government Dumaguete. Install and MAINTAIN 25 Pisserias around town and let's get rid of the PISSY smell in Town. You want tourists from foreign country..... WELL, you know what to do, please do it now! Tourists is mostly coming from a civilized society, where they DO NOT p*ss on the streets, the walls or in the parks. PISSERIAS EXISTS IN MOST COUNTRIES, and I remember as a 5 year old (1946) in Scandinavia, that we had them all over the cities. Get your priorities right and give Dumaguete a chance to be a clean, hygienic and well sanitized city. Also make it the LAW that all stores and malls must have clean toilets with toilet paper, and water and soup and hand towels. Make Dumaguete a healthier city for all and understand that many illnesses and deceases come from poor hygiene and no sanitation.
Do they have them in Bacolod City ? Never seen them before ! I agree Dumaguete is a sxxt hole, and needs to clean up its act.
I have never seen one of those things in my life. I don't think I would use it either. The toilet paper thing is pretty annoying. I always carry a role when traveling. I think the reason they don't have toilet paper here is because it gets stolen after about 5 seconds of being in the stall.
I still don't understand why the men can't just hold it until they get somewhere there is a toilet? You don't, too often, see women taking a leak on the side of the road....
I do understand why the trike drivers do it. You don't see to many public restrooms here. I've seen several establishments that charge to use the restroom if no purchase......and honestly that's fair enough, they are there to make a profit, not provide a public service. Public restrooms are the responsibility of the city. As for women......boobs is all that really needs to be said.
Conversely, an empty 1 or 2 liter bottle would be easy to carry and use as an alternative. They could then empty it when they get home. The will to stop, is not strong enough. If the laws against public urination were enforced, maybe the will would be greater than the urge.
