Why oh why must they close the school crossings on the National Highway when they have flag ceremony and play their anthem inside the school????
All the people are just sitting in the back of jeepneys or backs of motor bikes looking like stunned mullets, if one was inside of the school yard then yes respect their anthem, but OMG on the highway?
All the motor bikes push past all the traffic and clog the crossing, when the anthem finally finishes its like a Grand Prix race with all the motor bikes scrambling for first place, then after some time the traffic that was lined up at the crossing can move off, then causing another traffic jam at the next school.O-|

It's not the locals 'clamoring' for this, it comes from Imperial Manila. Shades of North Korea, they are gradually changing the curriculum from English to Tagalog. They once sang the NatAm in Cebuano, don't try that again.
